Peer Mentoring

The Focus: Community, Connection, and Campus Navigation.

The Peer Mentoring Program is designed to ensure you never have to navigate the University of Redlands alone. Our mentors are successful undergraduate students who have already mastered the transition to college life. They serve as a relational bridge, helping you find your "home" on campus while providing the social and academic accountability needed to thrive in a new environment.

What to expect from your Mentor:

Campus Navigation: Insider guidance on understanding LAF/LAI requirements, exploring majors, and selecting classes.

Resource Referrals: Direct connections to campus offices, student organizations, and social communities.

Peer Perspective: Honest conversations about the social transition to college, building friendships, and getting involved.

Consistent Support: Regular one-on-one meetings to set personal goals and stay connected to the Redlands community.

Why choose a Mentor? Choose a mentor if you want a knowledgeable peer to help you navigate the "how-to" of being a Redlands student and build a stronger sense of belonging.

Peer Mentoring meetings are available both virtually and in person. In person meetings will be held in the Academic Success Center located in the Student Development Center on the ground floor of the Armacost Library.

If you’ve had positive experiences at Redlands and would like to help shape the experience of our new students then this is the role for you! Apply to be part of our Peer Mentor team here!
