New Student Orientation Schedule

We’re excited to welcome all new students during New Student Orientation (NSO), happening August 29 to September 1, 2025. NSO is a multiple day celebration and preparation designed to help new Bulldogs build community, explore campus, and step confidently into college life. During NSO, students will engage with four learning pillars:

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store from August 29 to September 1, 2025. International students will have a separate pre-orientation on August 28-29. The final schedule will be released closer to NSO, so make sure to download Navigate and RSPV for orientation to get the most recent updates. Join fellow students, faculty, and staff as we officially welcome the Class of 2029 to the Bulldog family in our annual campus-wide celebration of your next big chapter.

Och Tamale

End your day with intention, inspiration, and tradition. Gather in the evening for a peaceful, reflective moment to center yourself before diving into NSO with our university chant the "Och Tamale" and class photo.

Orientation Sessions

Interactive sessions throughout the day will help you build relationships, develop a sense of belonging, and start thinking about your academic and personal goals. From campus resources to identity exploration, these sessions will dive deeper into how you can grow, connect, and lead at Redlands. Prepare for your first day of class with workshops that cover advising, time management, academic expectations, and more. Your future starts now, and we’re here to guide you.
