New Student Orientation Schedule

We’re excited to welcome all new students during the spring New Student Orientation (NSO), happening January 5, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Spring NSO is a one day celebration and preparation designed to help new Bulldogs build community, explore campus, and step confidently into college life. During NSO, students will engage with four learning pillars:

Orientation Schedule | Orton Center

Settle into your new home away from home! Our team will be ready to greet you, help you transition in, and make sure you have everything you need to begin your Redlands journey. The orientation is scheduled to take place in the Orton Center on Redlands main campus.

8:00 - 10:00 a.m. | NSO Check-in & Registration

Welcome to campus, Bulldogs! This is your time to check in, pick up your NSO materials, and get settled into the University of Redlands. Staff will be there to greet you and answer any questions as you begin your college journey.

9:30 - 10:00 a.m. | Welcome & Opening

Kick off your NSO experience with a welcome session for all students and get an overview of what’s ahead.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | NSO Session Block #1

Growth Mindset Workshop

Presented by: Dr. Adrienne McCormick, Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs & Dr. Sandy Vasquez. Vice President for Student Affairs

Title IX Training

Presented by: Catherine Calhoun, Director of Equity & Title IX Coordinator & Patricia Caudle, Equity & Title IX Investigator and Project Manager

Moderated by: Adelaide Hubble, Redlands Student Government President

 4:00 p.m. | Desserts with DAWGS & RSG

End orientation with your student programming and government boards for a special mixer featuring live music and desserts.
