Dr. Liu has clinical experience working with children and adolescents with a wide range of communication disorders. Her research interests include AI applications in communication disorders, speech production in children with cleft palate, and Mandarin-English bilingual language assessment. She has collaborated with interdisciplinary teams in linguistics, computer science, and human-computer interaction to design and evaluate tele-health platforms and AI-assisted tools for language assessment. Her work has been presented at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
