In 2022-2023 the University established a common academic calendar framework across all academic programs at University of Redlands, with the exception of the San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS). This means that all academic programs start and finish within a common block of instructional weeks, which enables students improved access to register for courses across the University.
The common academic program maximizes access to courses, study away programs, and pathways for all of our students. It also streamlines billing and maximizes financial aid opportunities for students with the most demonstrated financial need. For purposes of financial aid and billing, the University has established three periods of enrollment detailed below.
Fall 2025: Classes that fall between September 1, 2025 and December 21, 2025
Spring 2026: Classes that fall between January 5, 2026 and April 26, 2026
Summer 2025: Classes that fall between May 4, 2026 and August 23, 2026
Please review the FAQs below for more information about the benefits of the University’s common calendar and how it will impact your billing and financial aid experience. If you have any questions, please contact Student Financial Services at SFS@redlands.edu or (909) 748-8047.
